Ceremonies that sound like you, not a script
I'm Anna Montiel, a professional celebrant living and working in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. I believe the biggest moments in life — welcoming a child, marrying the person you love, saying goodbye to someone dear — deserve words that are entirely your own.
Every ceremony I write is built from real conversations: your stories, your humour, your traditions, your language. Whether that means blending English with Spanish or French, weaving in family customs, or simply saying what's true in plain, heartfelt words, my role is to listen closely and hand it back to you as a ceremony that feels unmistakably yours.

What does a celebrant do?
A celebrant creates and delivers a bespoke, personal ceremony for weddings, funerals or naming days. Unlike a religious officiant, a celebrant isn't tied to a particular faith or fixed script, so your ceremony can be shaped entirely around your own story, beliefs and wishes.
Which areas do you cover?
Anna is based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, and regularly conducts ceremonies across West Sussex, East Sussex and Surrey. She's also happy to travel further afield for the right ceremony, so please get in touch to discuss your location.
Do you offer ceremonies in Spanish or French?
Yes — Anna offers fully bilingual ceremonies in English, Spanish and French, ideal for multicultural families and couples who want their heritage reflected in their ceremony.
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings and naming ceremonies, booking several months ahead is recommended to secure your date. For funerals, Anna understands timings are often short notice and will always do her best to accommodate your family's needs.
